Description

Spherical Roller Bearing Units utilize single piece of cast iron housing and high capacity SR2200 series of spherical roller bearings, which have extended inner ring and concentric locking collar on which two setscrews are positioned at 62º apart. These units achieve simple and economic bearing arrangements where the high load-carrying capacity and little- maintenance are needed. The popular housing styles are such as P Two bolts pillow configuration PE Two bolts pillow configuration reinforced F Three or four bolts flange configuration FC Piloted four bolts flange configuration T Center pull take-up configuration All units utilize triple-protection seals. Dual lips positively contact NRB seals which ride on a ground surface of the inner ring extension with a trash guard shield next outside offer triple- protection to the ingress of contaminants, and without losing seal effectiveness even under purge and maximum misalignment. This seal is also designed to withstand the affection of misalignment throughout the alignment bearing range of ±1.5º. These units are available for either non-location “Free” or location “Held” in axial mounting. “Free” units are available to provide a maximum1.6 mm axial expansion.
